Influenza Immunization Program
Pharmacies administering seasonal influenza vaccination
The Alberta Pharmacists’ Association (RxA) is reminding Albertans that they can get their influenza immunization from a pharmacist.
Pharmacists with authorization to administer drugs by injection are invited by Alberta Health Services to administer the seasonal influenza immunization to individuals nine years of age and older. Immunizations are free of charge from pharmacies participating in the 2011-2012 Influenza Immunization Program.
